This is where we will discuss BOSC 2008 in Toronto.

To Do

  • Choose and Invite Keynote speaker(s)
  • Calculate budget to see if we can cover costs for invited speakers.
    • Possibly have money set aside to pay for either developers to attend who cannot otherwise, or to sponsor students' costs.
  • Lightning talks


Thoughts from 2007

  • Second day seemed to fall a bit flat. Are we trying to do too much having a 2-day SIG. Maybe a 1-day and then a second day focused on coding and developer coordination.
  • Is the lightning talk format working?
  • Mini-hackathon before or after SIG/Conference?
  • How to bring the energy level up so this isn't just a sit and listen conference?
