This is the wiki page for Chris Lasher, a.k.a. gotgenes. Chris currently works as a graduate research assistant at Virginia Tech, specifically at the Virginia Bioinformatics Institute. He uses and supports the BioPython project, and advocates and contributes to Software Carpentry, a course created by Dr. Greg Wilson to demonstrate good development practices to scientists and engineers.
